About the Journal
The Dominican Journal of Educational Sciences (ReDoCiE) is an open-access electronic scientific journal published by the Dominican Institute of Educational Sciences (IDOCE). The journal promotes the generation and dissemination of rigorous, relevant, and context-specific knowledge regarding teaching, learning, assessment, and inclusion processes, with a special focus on the sociocultural and regional challenges of the Dominican educational system.
ReDoCiE adopts the Open Access model as an ethical and strategic principle for the democratization of knowledge. Consequently, all published content is available free of charge and immediately, with no financial barriers for readers and authors.
The journal was created as an academic space to strengthen scientific debate, educational improvement, and informed decision-making through qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research that provides evidence to strengthen the curriculum, support teacher professional development, and guide public policy.
