Innovación didáctica basada en competencias en ciencias experimentales para la formación en salud: revisión de alcance

Resumen

La enseñanza de las ciencias experimentales en programas de ciencias de la salud está tensionada por transformaciones tecnológicas, exigencias de seguridad del paciente y expectativas de desempeño profesional, lo que ha impulsado currículos orientados por competencias y metodologías activas en medicina, enfermería y áreas afines. Se realizó una revisión de alcance de literatura indexada en Scopus (2018–2022), complementada con fuentes clave sobre integración de TIC, aprendizaje basado en problemas/proyectos, simulación, gamificación, competencias transversales y enfoques inclusivos (DUA), considerando estudios empíricos y revisiones en laboratorio y asignaturas básicas/biomédicas dentro de la formación en salud. Los hallazgos sugieren que el aprendizaje basado en problemas y casos, el trabajo colaborativo con evaluación programática y la simulación —incluida la realidad virtual— favorecen el razonamiento clínico, la toma de decisiones y la autorregulación del aprendizaje. La integración de TIC y entornos virtuales aporta flexibilidad y continuidad pedagógica, pero su efectividad depende de la preparación docente y la infraestructura institucional. La gamificación se asocia con mayor motivación y participación cuando se alinea con resultados y evaluación. Persisten vacíos en la evaluación de competencias transversales y en accesibilidad e inclusión mediante diseño universal.
